About Amy

Often, we find ourselves coming to therapy at a crossroads—after painful or traumatic experiences, during times of deep transition, or simply when we need space to hold the questions stirring in our hearts. Whatever brings you here, seeking healing is a beautiful and vulnerable step, and I count it a profound honor to walk alongside you.

One of my favorite quotes is by Rainer Maria Rilke: “Be patient with all that is unsolved in your heart, and try to love the questions themselves.” This speaks deeply to my approach, as I believe healing often begins in uncertainty. As your heart leads the way, I’m here to support you at your pace, holding your questions with empathy, curiosity, and care, as you uncover what’s within you.

I am a trauma-informed therapist, trained to understand how trauma becomes embedded in the nervous system and how it can impact us in ways we may not even realize. As we uncover painful experiences, I will help you identify patterns and draw connections to help you understand yourself and your story on a deeper level. When we understand ourselves more fully, we gain greater access to compassion and patience for ourselves as we grow.

I see the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful growth. My intention is to offer a safe, cozy space where you can breathe, settle, and take what you need. In this space, you’re invited to connect with yourself, your body, and your vulnerability as you navigate your inner world. I am an inclusive and affirming therapist who believes that all are welcome, and all are worthy. I trust that when we’re able to meet what is true within us, we create space for healing, nourishment, and a richer experience of life.

In my personal time, I enjoy reading, journaling, cooking, concerts, and spending time with loved ones. It would be a joy to connect with you!
